The Queen of Kings trailer was shot at Charged Studios in Gowanus Brooklyn, on one very long, very excellent day in March 2011. Sxip Shirey composed original music for the piece, with sound effects that included the ripping of a carrot top, and electric guitar and a whisper chorus. The voice of director Kerthy Fix can be heard on the score as well. The jewelry used in the trailer is part of the author's personal obsessive collection of Egyptian-Revival pieces.
